I'm one of those people who delight in cliche phrases a little too late. Yes, I know winning has run its course, but I can't help using it because it expresses an appropriate amount of excitement and glee that other words just don't seem to capture. So, when Chelsea sent me her wedding site and showed me the section that she wrote up about why she chose me to be her wedding photographer, I may have thought, "WINNING!" I may have teared up a little bit. I may have danced around and wished that she was here so I could hug her. My clients mean the world to me, and I feel ever so lucky when I'm made aware that the feeling is mutual.
Chelsea, I can't wait for your wedding. And I can't wait for all of my other couples' weddings. We've been brought together in various ways, but I like all of you a whole lot. I'm probably going to be tearing up as I photograph your "I do's," but I promise I'll do it quietly!
I am most certainly winning right now.
