Lexi, of Lexi Lowell Photography is one of my longest and dearest photographer friends. We regularly find the time to enjoy a drink together, or just spend time with each others' pups (although our pups never interact with each other- Colonel, my pup, prefers humans to other dogs). We may each be busy during the wedding season, but I always look forward to coffee with her as a welcome distraction from editing. Lexi and her husband, Matt (her second photographer and husband) wanted updated headshots that included their adorable pup, Finnlay (isn't he adorable? He's also well-trained to boot!), so we started by photographing them in their backyard, then moved to the UMaine gardens (which are magical in the spring, by the way, especially when they cherry blossoms are blooming) and a nearby lupine field to complete their session together.
