I was thrilled to spend a sunny and warm day in Blue Hill, Maine with Michelle and Shawn a few weeks ago for their engagement portrait session! I photograph many Blue Hill Maine weddings and Blue Hill, along with Brooklin, are two of my favorite locations in the state of Maine. The craggy coastline is stunning and I can see why so many people own property in this area of the state! The two of them, along with Michelle's mom, had scouted around the area for some really cool locations to shoot at, and came up with three close by-- Michelle's mom's house, which featured a picturesque ocean view, another nearby house with a pretty path in the woods, and a blueberry barrens. What more could a photographer ask for? I even got to photograph the pair of them in a dinghy, which was quite the treat. We hopped between each location and talked about their 2015 Bar Harbor Club (also known as Harborside Hotel) wedding, which I am very excited for-- it sounds like it's going to be quite the party and I'm already counting down the days!
