On a beautiful day in June, I joined Christy, Pat, their amazing, adorable dog, Otto and their closest family and friends to photograph their Camden Maine wedding. Christy and Pat really wanted their wedding day to be an experience, so choosing to have their ceremony on the Schooner Olad, and a lobster bake reception on Warren Island was a perfect choice. The day felt easy and relaxed- after their ceremony on the boat, the group lounged and enjoyed cold beverages, cheese and crackers, as well as take in the striking Maine coast (for some, it was their first time ever experiencing Maine!), and Otto tried to steal the show with his charm and fluffy good looks. Once we arrived on Warren Island, everyone (well, except for me- unfortunately, I've never acquired a taste for lobster) enjoyed lobster cooked to perfection by the Schooner Olad crew. Finally, we sailed into the sunset on the way home while wrapped in warm blankets and huddling together for warmth, which seemed like a natural conclusion to such a beautiful day.
