Emma and Henry started summer off with a bang- after Henry proposed to Emma in Chicago, the pair traveled to Maine to visit Henry's family and celebrate their newly engaged status. Before the proposal had even happened, Henry's mom reached out to me and asked if I would capture their engagement portraits on their property. "Of course!" I replied, "but why don't we wait until it's official, just to make sure?" But, had I known Emma and Henry before Henry's mom contacted me, I would have never even questioned it- Emma and Henry's love for one another is palpable, and within minutes of our session it was clear as day why Emma accepted the proposal. These two are relationship goals- they cuddled and laughed throughout their session, even withstanding bug bites for the perfect photos!
Emma and Henry's engagement session took place at a spectacular private residence in Bar Harbor Maine. It overlooked a wonderful rocky beach that we explored at sunset, and lots of trails in the woods to explore. There's nothing like a Bar Harbor engagement session!
