a portrait of Kate Crabtree in Acadia

Oh hi, I’m Kate!

Award-winning Maine wedding
and elopement photographer

I create wedding photos that reflect
how your wedding day felt.

I’ve studied photography since 2005, but it wasn’t until I photographed my first wedding in 2011 that I realized how much power a well-captured moment can hold. Memory can be fleeting, but photography can hold so much feeling, emotion, and story in one frame. Being a determined and dedicated sort of gal, I’ve spent the past decade perfecting my documentary photography skills because my couples deserve to have high-quality visual reminders of the moments they’d never want to forget.

When I’m not working, I spend a lot of time chasing whatever will bring me joy. What does that look like? On some days it might mean hiking, cooking, or exploring new areas of Maine, but I’m equally happy solving a crossword, reading in my hammock, cuddling with my pup, Colonel, and obsessing over all things Survivor. Seriously, if you watch Survivor, we need to talk about it, it’s a necessity.

Warmly, Kate (she/her)
