When I saw Juliana before we began our shoot, she was acting incredibly shy, grabbing onto her mother's leg and shrinking away. But all I had to do was pull out my bubbles and challenge her to a race (she's fast), and then we were buddies. We trampled around the field at a record pace-- whenever I'd stop, she'd say, "let's go, or Mommy and Daddy will catch us!"-- and I had a blast with her. But don't worry, George and Jane-- once she realized the thunderstorm was rolling in and that you two might be wondering where she was, she changed her tune, and started to say, "let's get back to Mommy and Daddy! " You two have a wonderful girl- I had fun photographing her!
