Laura & Ethan’s Atlantic Oceanside Bar Harbor Wedding

Laura and Ethan's wedding, like so many, had been postponed in 2020. However, they still wanted to get married on their original date, so last July they got together with a small group of loved ones to officially tie the knot. They still wanted a larger celebration, so they waited a year in the hopes the world would be a little safer. Their patience paid off, and the pair had a fantastic, emotional, and energetic party with their favorite people at the Atlantic Oceanside in Maine.

During getting ready, Laura's wedding party pored over old Destination Imagination memorbilia, as they had been in teams with Laura growing up (in fact, Laura still judges it, and even judges the global competition!), giggling over silly costumes and delightfully awkward photos. Meanwhile, Ethan got dressed with his wedding party, and helped his son, Ace, prepare.

Once the formalities were complete- first look, portraits, and the ceremony, the true magic began. Laura and Ethan are incredibly loving individuals, as are many of their friends and family members, and I was touched by so many portions of their reception- so many hugs, tears, and grins were witnessed as toasts were given and dances shared. I felt so lucky to capture all of the love in that room.
