On a beautiful weekday in August, I joined Silvana, David, and their pup, Sabrina, as they traveled around Mount Desert Island, not only making beautiful portraits of the two of them amongst the scenic vistas we visited, but most importantly, capturing their elopement in Acadia National Park at Otter Point. At Your Service Tours & Car Service drove us around the island (which I highly recommend- we didn't have to worry about parking, which can sometimes be a bit intense during the summer, and our driver, Grant, knew all of the best routes to our locations, which was an excellent benefit) and stopped at a variety of different locations, including the Somesville bridge, Jessup Path, and Cadillac Mountain. After their sweet ceremony, Silvana and David joined their friends and family at Atlantic Oceanside Hotel to celebrate with- what else- an outdoor lobster bake at sunset as the fog slowly rolled in. It was all perfectly Maine.
