On a seasonably warm day in November (the last warm day I remember from this year- sigh!), I met Hilary and Josh for the first time in Portland for their engagement session. We wandered around the Old Port, then hopped in a car to check out Mackworth Island. I had never been, but had heard good things, and it definitely did not disappoint! What a charming spot- I'm fond of islands, and not only was this one easily reachable by car, but it had it all- woods, beaches, a clear view of the sunset, and a view of the Old Port. Does it get any more Maine than that? These two were so lovely to get to know over the course of our session, and I'm looking forward to their wedding in May. See you two soon- hope the two of you enjoyed a meal at Street and Co. after I left you! :)
