Lesley and Mark’s Fall Acadia Portraits

This portrait session had it all- peak foliage in Acadia National Park, soft light, hard light, fog, and a pastel sunset, complete with low-hanging clouds.  Can you really ask for anything more?

Lesley and Mark recently moved to Maine from Canada, and Mark is currently teaching history at my alma mater, the University of Maine.  I used to teach Composition there as well, so it fun to connect with someone who understood academia.  The two had visited Acadia before, but it was fun to show them some of my favorite locations- we stopped at the Jesup Path, Jordan Pond, and Cadillac Mountain, and at all the foliage was stunning.  Fall is one of the prettiest times to take portraits in the park, and I was so thrilled for the two of them that their session date corresponded so perfectly to peak foliage!

Here are a few of my favorite portraits from their session.  Thanks for spending the afternoon with me, Lesley and Mark!
