On a beautiful day at the end of August Lindsay and Chris' families and friends gathered in Waterville and Oakland to celebrate Lindsay and Chris finally tying the knot. The day was delightfully sunny and filled with so much excitement, which especially culminated on the dance floor... but you'll have to wait to see those photos ;). On with the images!
I started photographing Lindsay and her bridesmaids just as she was finishing putting on her wedding dress at Camp Manitou.
Once the ladies were ready, we hopped into the limo and headed to Sacred Heart. There was a slight detour when Lindsay realized the veil had been left behind, but we still arrived right on time!
Chris later told me he started to cry after his best man, Tony, whispered in his ear how beautiful Lindsay looked. :)
Lindsay and Chris received guests afterwards, and there was lots of hugs and joy as everyone celebrated their new union.
After the ceremony, we headed to the Colby Campus for some portraits. We had some free time, so the wedding party relaxed for a bit and toasted to the new couple!

The veil Lindsay wore was her mother's! I always enjoy it when brides and grooms find ways to incorporate heirlooms into their wedding.
When we were done, we headed back to Camp Manitou, where cocktail hour was still underway.
The baked goods were by Heavenly Delights Bakery.
I had some time during cocktail hour, so I decided to get a little creative with the ring shot with help from one of Lindsay's bridesmaids. Thanks, Kelsey! You were absolutely awesome!
I loved how everyone gathered around when it was time for Lindsay and Chris' first dance-- it felt very intimate.
At sunsest, we stepped outside for a few more portraits, which included the one at the top of this post (such gorgeous light, right?)
Ivy, Lindsay and Chris' incredibly well trained pup, joined us for a few photos lakeside. Look at those eyes!
We headed back in for some cake cutting.. and some dancing!
The Larry Williams Band rocked the dance floor, keeping guests of all ages dancing, laughing, and doing wild things, many of which I thought may be best to save for the gallery ;).
Thanks for including me in your wedding day, Lindsay and Chris! What a special day it was, full of fun and love.
