It's always lovely to break up weddings and engagements with individual portraits, so it was a great break to head to Bar Harbor to do Madi's (a 2014 senior from Mount Desert Island) senior portraits. She chose to do her portraits at her home, which happens to be on a gorgeous property in Bar Harbor. We split our time between working in the forest and, once the sun lowered enough so the light was soft and gorgeous, on a rocky beach.
