On a blustery Saturday we gathered in Burnham Maine to celebrate several birthdays in Tony's family. It was great to see all of his family and to catch up with their lives, but I spent a good portion of my afternoon with little Noley, Tony's cousin's son. He is, I'm convinced, the coolest kid ever for the following reasons:
1. At age 4 he is knowledgeable about dinosaurs and can list off obscure dinosaur names. As a dinosaur fan, I'm impressed.
2. Has amazing fashion sense; he actually picked out his own outfit for our wedding last summer, and let me tell you-- he looked awesome!
3. Tells a mean scary story (we spent the afternoon in a dark room with flashlights making spooky shadow puppets on the wall.)
4. He's peppy, energetic, and if I ever had a kid I would want it to have some of the fantastic spirit that Noley has.
We ended our afternoon outside; Noley played around on his tractor and I took a breather and snapped a few photos.
