Everything about Caitlin and Mike's wedding, which took place at The 1812 Farm in Bristol Maine, was accented with personal touches that made their day feel like it the day was very much uniquely theirs and theirs alone. From the details so lovingly crafted by Caitlin and her mom, to the delightfully funny Master of Ceremonies, to the endless toasts given by friends and family, it was hard not to feel like a part of their sweet (yet delightfully fun) big day.

As Caitlin got ready, I took photos of a few of her details.
Caitlin gave these adorable bow bracelets to each of her bridesmaids. Love them!
Everyone pitched in to help Caitlin into her dress, which provided for a poignant moment.
I then headed over to the barn, where the guys were pinning on the boutonnieres.
The ceremony began with the groomsmen walking down the aisle to "Damn it Feels Good to be a Gangsta." I mean... why not? I think they were enjoying themselves. ;)
After the ceremony we traveled to Pemaquid Point Lighthouse for a few dramatic photos on the rocky coast of Maine.
There were so many wedding details, many of which were crafted by Caitlin herself.
I really loved the flowers, carefully put together by Joanne Cilmartin.
Caitlin and Mike incorporated a Master of Ceremonies in their wedding. Traditionally, a Master of Ceremonies is a friend or family member of the bride and groom and helps introduce certain wedding events. Caitlin and Mike's Master of Ceremonies called friends and family to provide toasts, and had all guests clinking their glasses, laughing, and crying.
Caitlin and Mike ended the toasts with a toast of their own, to their guests and to one another. Look at how Mike's looking at her!
Caitlin and Mike decided to do the Kissing Game at their wedding. The rules were simple-- if you wanted them to kiss, your table had to answer the question about Caitlin and Mike in the envelope on each table. If you got the question right, you'd be rewarded with watching the two of them kiss. If you got it wrong, you'd be dealt a punishment. The game promptly ended once a table failed to produce the correct answer and all the men at the table were forced to wear lip gloss.
The first dances were sweet and emotional.
And, afterwards, the dance floor was filled with reckless abandon and lots of love!
