Marleah and Ricky’s New England Outdoor Center Wedding in Millinocket, Maine

Marleah and Ricky chose to spend their wedding weekend at the beautiful New England Outdoor Center- a beautiful, remote camp venue in northern Maine that includes a view of Mount Katahdin and an abundance of wildlife, especially birds (I felt like the ducks kept checking in on me throughout the day, even perfectly photobombing during couples portraits). It was a bit chilly and windy for their rehearsal dinner, so it was a welcome surprise to be served a beautiful, sunny temperate weather on the day of their wedding. Marleah spent the morning getting ready, and after Marleah and her bridesmaids finished getting dressed and practiced their bend and snaps, we found ourselves outside, with Katahdin as our backdrop as Marleah and Ricky said their vows and made their marriage official. After a few portraits, and after cocktail hour was enjoyed on the shore of Millinocket Lake, the reception began, with beautiful toasts and dances (I was fond of how Marleah's dance with her father changed from slow into a fun jam that they could really groove to) and a dance floor that Marleah's brother completely owned (although many of Marleah and Ricky's friends helped to make it epic). At the very end, Marleah and Ricky surprised their guests with a vibrant fireworks show that acted as the perfect exclamation point to their wedding day.
