Engagement portraits in Acadia National Park | Jess & Alan

We had been expecting 50 degree weather and some sun during our session on Sand Beach in Acadia National Park, but spring had other plans.  Instead, we were greeted with a breezy, grey, and cold day that wasn't exactly springlike.  But, as a lover of grey, soft skies (they provide for quintessential Maine backdrops!), I really enjoyed the ambiance the weather brought to our session.  Jess, Alan, and I wandered around the mostly vacated beach, and Jess and Alan kept warm by snuggling close to one another.  The temperatures might not have been ideal, but is there anything better than having someone keep you warm?

We ended the session with a couple photos of the kids, who had lots of energy to burn as they ran and jumped along the beach.  Jess and Alan, I can't wait for your Asticou Inn wedding this summer!

Here are a few of my favorites from our time together.
