Let's be honest-- although I like taking a small breather from wedding season, the winter and early spring are kind of... dull. I'm a bit of adrenaline junkie (after all, I'm a marathon-running and skydiving sort of gal), and when I can't get my weekly fix of capturing a gorgeous wedding and spending the day with a couple who have become friends during the wedding planning process, everything else seems kind of washed out in comparison. So, it's always exciting when the wedding magazines make their yearly debut in December-February because it's a reminder of the good life. I love looking through the issues and checking out what my other Maine photographer friends have been doing over the past year.
Real Maine Weddings featured a few images in their January 2013 issue, which was definitely exciting. Here's the cover, so look out for it at your local newsstand!
I was excited when the editor chose a photo from Chelsea and Bobby's central Maine wedding as an editor's pick-- it's the one on the top right of Taryn working on Penny's hair (don't worry-- Penny did not die from inhaling hair spray. Actually, can one be poisoned by hair spray? Let's hope not)! Anyway, it's pretty exciting to have my photo amongst other photos by talented Maine wedding photographers!
A portrait of Chelsea and Bobby was also featured-- their portrait was taken on a river bank in Waterville Maine!
As other Maine wedding magazines begin to come out (most come out in January and February) I'll share a few other magazine features that we have been published in! Can't wait to show them to you!
