I really wanted to put together a stylized shoot to satisfy my creative urges this winter, and was very excited when Janet of Funky Trunk Wardrobe, Erica Snow, and a MUA agreed to collaborate with me to put together a fashion shoot. Janet had wanted to work with horses (and knew a fabulous woman who has a few horses of her own), so we created a romantic/gypsy concept that we were all excited about.
The day of, I arrived an hour before I was supposed to shoot and discovered that the makeup artist had failed to show up. We were all a little disheartened by being stood up, but we all rallied together to put together what ended up being one of my favorite shoots. Erica, Janet, and Sue, the woman who provided us with adorable Cocoa, were all wonderful and really brought their creative strengths to this collaboration. We may have had less than a hour to shoot after we scrambled to do hair and makeup ourselves, but the amazing foggy weather (which is my FAVORITE, by the way, for any type of session!) and Erica and Cocoa's prowess made up for our lack of time.
