A few months ago I decided that I really wanted to invest in amazing branding and a more cohesive website. I had been crushing on Braizen for forever (which is, in my humble opinion, the best design firm ever) and was so excited that they wanted to take me on. I've spent the last two months working with design guru Jasmine, which has felt not so much like working and more like playing with a really cool friend with great styling instincts. I had no idea what I wanted, but Jasmine walked me through the design process, helped me to identify what sort of look I was leaning toward, didn't freak out when I sent long responses to concept boards at 1 in the morning, and then crafted two concepts that were so good that it felt like she had read my mind. I'm kind of sad Braizen is located in Georgia because I kind of want to crash their office and give Jasmine and Ashley big bear hugs for giving Kate Crabtree Photography such an awesome new look.
I have more to share-- watermarks, patterns, and other great stuff, but I think I'll hold off on everything save for the watermark until my website is completely finished. For now, admire the new logo and colors and join me in dreaming about the upcoming website! :) 2013, you're looking pretty spiffy already!
