Maine Photographers | Featured: Bangor Metro

I am primarily a wedding and portrait photographer, but every now and then I do some freelance work as a photojournalist.  I’ve done some work for Bangor Metro in the past, and I love helping out the magazine’s editor, Melanie, (who’s also the editor of Real Maine Weddings!) because she’s awesome.  Melanie was actually in a central Maine wedding I photographed in September and it was delightful to see her kick back and celebrate one of her close friends’ weddings (and let me tell you– she can definitely bust a move on the dance floor!)

Anyway, Melanie is awesome, and I’m always happy to help her out.  Here’s a couple of recent projects I’ve done for her and the magazine!

For the October 2012 issue, I was delighted to photograph my high school creative writing teacher and marathon runner Emilie Manhart, who keeps up an awesome blog that I make sure I’m always caught up on.

And, for the September 2012 issue, Melanie joined me and we visited local WLBZ 2 news personality Melissa Kim, who regaled us with amusing anecdotes.

By the way– keep your eyes peeled in 2013 for some exciting features that are currently in the works!
