There’s a certain sense of excitement that comes along with shooting in a new location that I’ve never been to before, so I was super psyched to travel to Castine to shoot Megan’s senior portraits. Megan is a Brewer High School class of ’13 senior, but since her dad is employed at Maine Maritime Academy (located in Castine) she’s spent a lot of time on the ocean. Hence, it was the perfect location to do her senior portraits. It was a gorgeous day, and the harbor was filled with sailboats. Due to her father’s influence we managed to get onto a sailboat that had just received ten million dollars in renovations. Let me tell you– the sailboat’s wooden floor actually felt soft underneath my feet (we had to take off our shoes). Pretty awesome!
Megan brought along her boyfriend, Matthew, and we took a few photos of the two of them together as well. Matthew, by the way, is such a good boyfriend to Megan– what a gentleman!
Here are a few of my favorite photos from our time together.
