Bangor Maine Photographer | Featured: Bangor Metro Magazine

I was so excited to be asked by Bangor Metro to cover their feature of the new Brewer Community School for several reasons, but one of the most poignant was the fact that the Brewer Superintendent, Dan Lee, who I was to photograph for the cover, was my K-3 principal.   Mr. Lee was awesome-- we had a mail system in the school and if you wrote him a letter he would write you one back.  I remember being so impressed at the time-- that such a great man had the time to read my letter and write me one in return.

We chatted for a bit before we did our cover shoot, and he told me that he remembered me.  I laughed and said, "oh, come on, that was twenty years ago!"  But he insisted that he did; that he remembered all the students at Fruit St. School.  And I had a little "awww" moment in my head.

This was my first magazine cover photo, so it was super exciting!  Thanks, Dan, for being such a great model and a great human being.

Melanie, the editor of Bangor Metro, asked if I would do her headshot.  I happily agreed!

You can pick up a magazine in various stores in Bangor or you can order one through their site-- hope you check it out!

(PS - have you seen my previous Bangor Metro feature?
