When I was asked to photograph some Bangor High seniors for their prom, I jumped at the chance. I love everything associated with proms-- getting dolled up, having the opportunity to shop for and wear a gorgeous gown, having your makeup done and hair styled. How can you go wrong?
I couldn't help but think about my own prom as I photographed these lovely ladies. At my prom, I decided to go stag, which ended up being an excellent choice. I wore a Tiffany bubblegum pink ballgown that was extremely full in the skirt, and I'm pretty sure it weighed at least twenty pounds. Nevertheless, I loved that dress, and I'm tempted to go over to my parents house, pull it out of storage, and frolic around in it for old times sake.
To those ladies and gentlemen that I photographed: I hope your own prom was just as awesome as mine was!
I have to preface this photo by mentioning that Marlee (the lady in red!) made that gorgeous boutonniere for her date, Sam. I was in awe.
Look how much sass she has! This photo just kills me.
